Traces

Each trace is displayed on a separate chart. What follows therefore applies to each of them.

The unit of measurement of the recording is assumed to be mm/s; should it be different, the representation is the same, and only the label on the chart is incorrect.

The trace chart appears in the configurations of the Tabs named General data and Selection. In the first of the two, the chart is simply a graphical rendering of the content of the recordings carried out on site. In the second configuration, in addition to the previous content, it also shows the time position of the windows identified for the analysis process. Each of these windows is represented by a rectangle enclosing the recording interval associated with that window.

When one of these windows is selected in the window table of the Selection Tab, it is highlighted on the chart with a different colour and a thicker outline.

The reverse also applies: selecting a window within the chart selects it not only in the table of selected windows, but also within the stationarity map.

If the overlap value in the general window data of the Selection Tab is greater than 0, the representation of the windows within the trace chart will show this overlap (within the limits of screen visibility).

When a new window is being entered in graphical mode, during the placement operation a window is temporarily displayed, synchronised with the position of the mouse pointer within the chart, with a size equal to the one indicated in the window size field of the general window data in the Selection Tab.
