Traces

The Tab named Traces contains the commands simply useful to import the traces from the instruments' recording files.

Read traces

Pressing this button opens a dialog window that allows you to load the traces to be analyzed from the files generated by the instrument used on site. The supported formats are the following: Seg2 files (sg2; seg2; dat); Segy files (sgy; segy); SU files (su); Ambrogeo files (dta); SESAME ASCII files (saf); text files (txt). For the latter two, an intermediate dialog window is opened; the details are reported on a specific page of the manual.

Sampling frequency

In this field the sampling frequency of the traces is set and/or shown. If the recordings are imported from files that do not also support storing the sampling frequency, this information must be entered manually in this box.

Table of traces

This table reports the values of the recordings instant by instant, for a possible direct reading of the values.

Chart configuration

When the Traces Tab is selected, the chart configuration shows exclusively the three traces: each chart shows the single trace in its direction. For further details see the Charts section of this guide.
