QSIM — User manual¶
QSIM generates synthetic design accelerograms (SIMQKE, Sabetta-Pugliese), computes response spectra and Italian Building Code (NTC) design spectra, and performs slope stability analysis in dynamic conditions with Newmark's method: the slope is viewed as a rigid block sliding on an inclined plane, and motion starts when the acceleration exceeds the critical value obtained from the pseudo-static analysis.
