Settings

Menu Geostru › DrawSection › Settings (macro DrawSection.form). Settings apply to the sections drawn after saving them and are kept in the Windows user profile between sessions.

How the scales are used

The profile is drawn in drawing units with a factor of 1000 / scale: with a horizontal scale of 1:1000 real distances are drawn 1:1 (1 m = 1 unit); with 1:2000 they are halved; with a vertical scale of 1:500 elevations are doubled. The scales are written in the title block (SCALA H 1/…, SCALA V 1/…) and do not change the plan.

Texts too big or too small

Text height is in drawing units, not millimetres on paper: with a horizontal scale of 1:1000 and 2.5 mm text on paper you need a height of 2.5; with 1:2000, a height of 5.

Where they are stored

Windows registry, key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Geostru Autocad\Section. Deleting the key restores the defaults.
